Rules, stewarding and fair play
Organizers publish sporting regulations and enforce them through stewards, incident reports, replay and telemetry review, penalties, and result verification. Historic file-based leagues relied on saves, logs, and checksums. Modern platforms use server data, driver ratings, and protest procedures to keep standings meaningful.

Common penalties
Time penalties, grid drops, licence-point deductions, disqualification, and in serious cases suspension for repeated unsafe or dishonest behaviour.
What a team should require
Clean racecraft, honest incident reporting, verifiable results, and disclosure of any previous sanctions. BIR asks applicants for exactly this.
