What was LFRS?
LFRS stands for Little Formula Racing Series, an early international offline and replay-file league. Drivers downloaded event files, completed races locally, and uploaded results or saves for verification. It allowed international standings before live online racing was practical, and BIR's archive associates its early international programme with this era.

The competitive model
Each round arrived as a package: circuit, car, session length, and rules. Drivers ran the event offline and submitted evidence within a deadline. Organizers verified, penalised, and published.
Why it mattered
It proved that international esports competition could exist without the infrastructure usually treated as a prerequisite, and it created verification practices that outlived the format.
